Linda Brissette will be showing and selling her work inside at Sweetgrass in Union.  Come grab a glass of wine or cocktail and immerse yourself in her fabulous colors.  Linda employs the use of color to express her appreciation for the places and family scenes that have been especially meaningful to her during her lifetime. Growing up in the coastal Maine village of Camden and later raising her own children a few miles inland in Waldo county, a social worker by profession, painted whenever she found an opportunity to indulge in her passion. Now retired, she is able to devote her time fully to her painting. Her paintings of commonplace scenes expressed in a colorful and unique perspective are aimed at communicating to the viewer a sense of how highly valued and precious is this way of life we enjoy in Maine.
